What is our return Policy?

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the product you receive, you have 3 business days from the date of receipt to email and call us to request a return. All the notes below apply to any return request.

Please read: We have a lot of information on our site as reference information and on the product pages that describes portable hardness technology for both Leeb and UCI Ultrasonic types. If you are unfamiliar with this technology call us at toll free USA Ph 888-225-2865 or email us at sales@leebhardnesstesters.com. We will advise you on the best product for your needs. This includes directing you to other products that we don't sell if your application does not suit the devices we represent. We also have "try it" options. See below.

Notes:

  • The refund does not include original or returned shipping expenses.
  • Used Merchandise is NOT returnable/refundable.
  • Only product that is in its original undamaged packaging complete with all Instructions, Tags etc is accepted for return.
  • Special orders are not returnable.
  • If the product arrives back to us damaged, used or unsalable we will return it at your expense. If that damage was caused by return shipping to us then you need to make a claim with the shipper you used. We suggest that you insure the return package and ONLY ship by a trackable method.

Please call us at 206-340-5995. You must do this as we will automatically send back at your expense, returns that do not have an RMA number.

We will issue an RMA number when you call.

Return product to address listed below. Be sure to enclose a note with the RMA number the name and address used to place the order clearly printed on it. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the package.

Indicate if you would like to exchange your item for another, or if you'd like a refund.

"Try it": If you want to try the technology out on your applications, you can rent a unit, 2 day minimum, non-refundable. No charge if device kept. Use days include day of delivery, to day product is reshipped back to us. Rebound type $75 per day. Ultrasonic type $200 per day. Call us first at Ph 206-340-5995 if you want to use this option. Note: We ship a new product, so if it is returned it must be in as new condition. In other words, it can't be scratched or dinged up in any way. This is not a rental in the traditional sense where the item can be used in production. It's offered so you can prove that these 30 plus year old hardness testing methods ( ASTM, ISO, JIS, GOST etc ), works on your parts.
